With a turnover of +800 million euros Hankkija Oy, also known as Agrimarket, is the leading feed producer and agricultural store chain in Finland. The Hankkija group employs approximately 800 employees in 52 stores and agricultural and feed related businesses. Their mission: to help agricultural professionals as the best possible partner and provide all agricultural inputs to the farmer.
Adding value to Finland's leading agricultural store chain
One of the pillars of the organisation is Hankkija's animal feed brand: Suomen Rehu. Each year the group manufactures about 650 000 tons of feed and premix in four feed mills across Finland.
To stay at the top of their business Hankkija is constantly innovating and investing to improve their organisation and the service to their customers. To reach their goals the company decided to fully optimise and automate the entire feed manufacturing process from order, through formulation and production, to cash. To accomplish their mission Hankkija decided to invest in high quality software: Microsoft Dynamics AX, BESTMIX Feed Formulation and a number of MILAS AX modules (such as pricing, forecast, …).
As a feed industry specialist Adifo Software took the challenge to implement BESTMIX Feed Formulation and the MILAS AX integration modules into Microsoft Dynamics AX.
The results of a fully integrated feed production organisation
Hankkija and Adifo are pleased to have improved the workflow within the organisation through the following integrations:
- Finished products recipes from BESTMIX are automatically incorporated in the MILAS AX modules. This reduces the risk of errors and brings the optimised formulas to the ERP in just a few clicks.
- Cost prices of the ingredients and compounds are exported from Dynamics AX, with help of MILAS AX modules to BESTMIX.
- Product prices are imported to Dynamics AX.
- Sales forecasts are exported to BESTMIX to make the feed optimisation process more accurate.
- Stock lists are integrated between both systems.
The integrations not only reduce the risk of errors, they also increase productivity and allow Hankkija to explore new levels of customer service. Thanks to the Adifo integration manager (AIM) all integrations are constantly monitored and key users can easily access an overview of the different integrations and receive alerts if anything should go wrong.
How did Adifo integrate an entire feed organisation with ease?
